Congratulations to our Bantam Major TB Ice Hawks for capturing the championship of the Niagara Falls Memorial Cup Tournament on Sunday March 10th.

After losing 5-2 on Friday against the Pittsburgh Knights, the Hawks put up two strong performances on Saturday, winning 4-1 in the early game against the Southtowns Stars and 5-0 in the evening game against the Canadaigua Knights, clinching the top seed in the finals on Sunday.

Sunday's championship game offered a chance for redemption as the Pittsburgh Knights earned a shot at the championship as the second seed in pool play.

The Ice Hawks jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, only to find the game tied at 2 midway through the second, before battling back to go up 3-2 before 2nd period buzzer.  The Ice Hawks added 2 insurance goals in the 3rd period to reverse the score from Friday with a 5-2 Win!

Congratulations to the boys and coaches for ending the season with a tournament win!
